City played well at Sunderland and couldn't win. That's an honest and accurate opinion in my eyes. The main difference between today and the Sunderland game was that we had Clichy on the left and Zabba on the right flying up and down the wings and Norwich didn't park the bus. We had more luck in front of goal today which we didn't have on Wednesday wether that was down to Aguero and Deckos performances on the day is a matter of opinion.

I'm a sad fuck who watches games repeatedly over and over and it's rarely that we don't play well but when we don't Il be the first to say, however I would never slate the players in the way that happened on Bluemoon last week.

I thought we were quite poor against Reading & Sunderland by our (now pretty high) standards. I think Sunderland was a bit of a kick up the arse, which looks like it has had a positive effect on the players. I thought the team looked much more hungry & up for it today. We moved the ball quicker & were much more direct.

The attacking full backs give us the width that had been lacking previously. Zabba as a stand in left back isn't comfortable going forward on that side as was the case in the Sunderland game so injuries have played their part no doubt but I can't fault the team commitment. You're absolutely correct in us being more direct today, it could well have been a kick in the arse from Wednesday but I like to believe it was Clichy and Zaba doing what they do best. We miss them when they don't play in position as we become too narrow. Just my opinion.

That's very unfair, you knew I couldn't attack the first part of yours :-)

Can't fault yours at all then I suppose

Somehow i'm more annoyed about this, today moreso than after the match. Why did joe freeze up against that wobbly johnson's kick, ugh.

-- Sun Dec 30, 2012 1:07 pm --
