Sunderland Vs City Post match Discussion Thread

Away from home Pelegrini should take into account that we will get no decisions the other team will cheat foul dive and get away with it and have one chance score and hold on to the end

where is the mythical strength in depth, we started the game with only 4 naturally attack minded players, a midfield that was pedestrian, and centre backs slow and nervous protected by Garcia, who adds nothing.

We need another player like silva, easier said than done, but he is everything to this team, he is the one who raises everyone else's game, without him we are a shadow of the side, he makes everyone tick, nobody else can do it, or comes close.

Dismal from the manager again today, it's ok being a flat track bully against crap, he still hasn't shown an ability to grind a win out, and win ugly and 4 points from 18 away is pathetic.

One word, blend, top managers find it, again today ours didn't have a clue.

Only saw the second half today. Read up to page 12 and notice a few people slaggin James Milner. Now remember I can only go off what I saw in the second half and what I saw was an absolutely out of this world performance by Milner. Now either these people or just goin off the first half, where he could have been shite. Or, they're just simply looking for someone to blame. Or......well, I'll keep me gob shut. The lad was shit hot for the 45 minutes I watched. Somehow, our strikers were made to look average today. Navas was a menace, but to no avail.

attitude................................again

oh and yaya 'thou shall not be subbed or dropped', captain = leader......................can you imagine keane or viera (these are players/leaders he's been compared to).............this is bollox..............i dont even know the solution which is the worrying thing..............................................oh yeah i do...................see top of post

He had a decent 2nd half. Utter bobbins in the first.

For those that went to the match, did Pellegrini show much passion from the touchline? I could see Poyet motivating his team, but the cameras didn't seem to show much of Pellegrini (other than sat down or static).

When we get a corner or a free kick wide why can't we beat the first man, it really pisses me off and needs sorting. It's a fucking joke
this...................have a look at the rags goal to see how important this is, we dont even have a 'usual' taker, it just seems whoever's nearest, kolarov thinks he's fuckin zico or eder hitting everything first time or shooting from his own box, look how rvp or rooney cross it dickheads!

Wide players and their full backs go hand in hand. If you`ve got a shit full back who isnt pulling his weight he`ll make the wide player look awful. Just like centre half pairings they have to build up an understanding.
