Sunderland Vs City Post match Discussion Thread

What gets me is, not one team has earned a win against us in the league.
I don't mind if we play shit like today, and lose to a goal the other team has earned.
On today, 0-0 after a bad performance is a lot easier to take than 1-0, ref assisted.
Agreed. The defeat to Bayern was easier to take as they were patently the better side. In all the other defeats, we (at the very least) held our own against the opposition. We've given away crappy goals in every game. Today, it may well have been a foul against Jimbo, but he was weak in the challenge. And where the fuck was Micah?

Today you were unlucky with that goal but your lack of workrate as a team in the first half was a disgrace and show that your dressing room does not understand importance of hardwork in these away games to win against poorer teams.

As somebody tweeted today...
'Hard work will always beat talent... if talent does not work hard'

the corners were a waste of time all outswingers easily defended nasri should take them on the left and kolarov on the right, pellegrinni must have no interest in corners at all like Barcelona who are also fukkin shiet at corners

70 odd minutes of domination and their keeper never had to make a save ,and how many corners and crosses did we waste ? We are becoming a home team , we can beat anyone at the etihad , but away from home teams are just shutting up shop and scoring on the break , we can forget the league this year , but if we get top four , win a cup , and have a decent run in the champs league , it wont be bad for a transitional season.

I know six city fans who quit the the club today . . . just utterly pathetic, CITY'S DEAD.
I doubt they'll be missed if they quit after that.
Edited: - Assuming they ever existed in the first place.

I doubt he's even telling the truth. Fans do not easily 'quit' a club, especially six of them, unless it's a bunch of 10-year-olds who determine what team they support by playing FIFA.

First of all allow me to congratulate Sunderland, they played brilliantly especially in the 1st half. We were distinctly average and it took their 1st goal to wake us out of our slumber
Wow, so "brilliantly" involves committing a red-card tackle and being lucky enough to get away with it, and committing a foul in the lead up to a goal. Not the sort of "brilliantly" I normally associate with football but each to their own I suppose.

Absolute crap today, our away performances for the past two seasons have lacked tempo fight desire we are more content to knock the ball around the edge of the oppositions box while they file back and create an impregnable wall which leads us to try speculative shots which we are crap at.

Attack with pace. Don't allow the defence time to set up and get the ball in box quicker.
