Sunderland Vs City Post Match Thread

Btw,what was the commotion in one of the boxes full of blues?they had to go back inside..im talking about you, fanzone danny! I also saw you rock up on your minibus at the main entrance, superstar status!

Haha, that must have been right before Fanzone Danny walked right by us with a couple of other fellas! Wondered why he was slumming it with us mere mortals, especially given his shirtless v neck sweater and suit jacket look! Everyone else was bundled up to the nines!

Steve Fletcher....is he a closet rag or something?Did anyone see his reaction when Wickham scored? Jumping on his shoulders and pumping his fists as if it was the goal that had won the world cup final.....unfortunately for him there was 70 minutes still to play and i just loved the fact we shut the knob up.

Allegedly injured. He was in the tunnel talking to the city lads. Bottom of the picture wearing a Sunderland dark blue jacket. Mostly all you can see is the back of his head but you can tell its him especially when he starts to turn.

Fantastic on the pitch and in the stands, best away atmosphere for ages
Can't for the life of me understand the amount of empty seats in our end, probably the cheapest away game and not on TV

I agree - no many blues at the game but we made lots of noise. It was a real surprise considering chaap ticket prices and the great result at the weekend. I am also really surprised that Everton is not sold out yet. Not many tickets left on web site but does not bode well for the stadium expansion.

Might re post this later in the season when everyone starts moaning they cant get tickets for away games because they have not got enough points. They should have gone to Sunderland to improve their chances of a Derby Ticket !

Did you get any videos from the City end on Weds. Or have I missed them in another thread. Was a great night out.

To be honest - I have got fed up of doing it. I took my camera but could not be arsed doing it. I just enjoyed the game. I get lots of e mails asking me to keep doing it. I tried to get the club involved and put together a montage of videos from the whole of last season, but they never followed it up. I will probably do some in ROMA assuming no one nicks my camera or I get into bother !
