kompany , silva , fernandinho , jovetic , nastasic all out , so will the commentrary on sky on sunday highlight our missing £120m of players , or the £250m still available ? It wont matter . Pantilimon - zabs , demi , lescott , clichy - nasri , toure , garcia , milner - aguero , negredo , good enough for three points , a bit more workman like team , but probably what we need when playing teams like sunderland , they have robbed us for three successive seasons , it ends on sunday , come on you blue boys.

If the injury worries are true.

--Zaba-------Richards--------Lescott-------Clichy----

-----Milner------------Yaya--------------Nasri----

--------------Aguero----------Negredo------------

I would like to see that!
But to play Demi as if he were City's Philipp Lahm, you must have a respiratory emergency unit ready 20 min after kick off.
Lahm is a machine (probably an android).

With three defeats behind us already we can't afford another loss , no matter how many players we have missing , or how many Sunderland have returning from injury.

We have to wake up now , and start on some kind of prolonged run of positive results ..... anything less , taking into account the points gap already in place , could be disastrous.

It was around this time last season when the rags began to open up a points gap from which we NEVER recovered!

So what are you saying?

A draw might just be 'grudgingly acceptable' ... a loss certainly wouldn't !

vs the worst team in the PL? No way. A win is a must. Can't drop points to the lower table clubs and expect to win the league.

If we don't overcome this bloody Sunderland away hoodo I think I'm seriously consider calling Mulder and Scully.

The Sunderland story has not been like the Everton jinx where they have outplayed us at their place.

We have outplayed Sunderland in all three losses. Flukes don't last forever. The way we play now teams can't get away with a packed defense and hoping for a goal on the break. If we score early it could be 4 or more. If not, I still see winning by 2 clear.

Based on the latest reports only Silva, VK , Jovetic and Lopes are definitely unavailable.

Nasty and Fernandinho have late fitness tests but given their recent workloads might only start off the bench anyway if available.

I've got a bad feeling about Sunday. Bogey team, plus half of our star players missing.

If we have to play Lescott and Demichelis at the back, have they ever played together? And perhaps no Fernandinio to protect them?

We should have the quality to easily beat Sunderland, but I will be very relieved if/when we come away with the 3 points.

Eh? Half missing? They are lower in the prem than West Ham

Our star players are Aguero, Silva, Yaya and Komps, are they not? You could even add an on form Hart to that list. Half of them are missing.

And since when did a team's league position matter that much? We used to manage to fuck up against Everton no matter where they sat in the league. For some reason, we have also conspired to fuck up at Sunderland lately (1 point from 12 in our last 4 visits) so I will just be relieved if we get the win, that's all.
