Sunderland.

I have two hopes/prayers this next 12 days:

a) City win the Premier League
b) Sunderland stay in the Premier League

Sunderland fans were great when we were there and I was interviewed by their magazine man and we have kept in touch ever since and he keeps urging us on to win and I keep telling him they will stay up. So go for it Sunderland.

The Premier League is facing the possibility of a legal battle with three of their own clubs after it emerged that Cardiff City, Norwich City and Fulham have joined forces and instructed lawyers to fight the controversial decision not to dock Sunderland points for fielding an ineligible player.

The Observer can reveal that the first steps have been taken by a self-appointed "Gang of Three" to initiate proceedings about the way Sunderland were let off with a six-figure fine despite fielding Ji Dong-won in four league games, spread over seven weeks, earlier this season. Norwich and Cardiff have enlisted Fulham's support to challenge the league, and a legal letter has been sent on behalf of the three clubs arguing that the offence was serious enough to merit a points deduction

I thought there had been a meeting about this and all the clubs agreed that no legal action would be taken
even if whoever was relegated ?

Here we go

They lost every game he played in for fucks sake! He was their own player!
Sour fucking grapes.
I agreed that West Ham should have been relegated after the Tevez affair re Sheffield United, but this is different. Tevez was the difference between the Hammers staying up.
This Mackem player made no difference whatsoever.

Wouldn't have minded a fiver on their last few results, bit unlucky against Liverpool as well........

Just for shits and giggles, does anyone know the odds of them staying up when they were 7 points adrift???

We went out to 66/1 to stay up after Everton beat us 1-0, and were 1/33 to go down.

We were 16/1 just to beat Chelsea, which given we hadn't won in 8, and Maureen had never lost isn't too surprising.
