If Sunderland get relegated they will break the record , for the most times in going down .In the Premiership . At the moment they have gone down 3 times the same as Crystal Palace , Leicester and themselves . Sunderland have a proud record of going up and down .

I've been enjoying watching Sunderland down this final stretch. They are playing with a real fire. They keep playing like this and they won't go down. They looked to be a lock for relegation just two weeks ago.

We get the fact that 6/7 yrs ago you were just like us, with complete dickheads as neighbours...and hey presto, you hit the lucky button...fair enough.
You'll always get a few given the "bought the league" shouts, but most understand the history of what you have been through etc....hence you winning it will be bloody great!

I agree - not least for the You Tube stuff from the last day 2012 when the Rags thought they had won. The Mackems ribbing of the rags and the cheer that went up when they saw we had won gives me a warm feeling inside.

We were a club like Sunderland and are kindred spirits in that shared heritage - I wish them well and more success than their whining Geordie neighbours who are like Dippers Wannabe's
