Carlos chasing lost causes & puts defenders under pressure all the time. You rarely see him ambling back.
Balo doesn't seem to me to be that sort of player.
I just fear that without that energy & work rate up front we might struggle.

TBF, no other players can be compared to Tevez, workrate wise.

Balo will do the job against WH, im so damn impressed of his quality.

Yes he may have worked back a little against bolton but he certainly seems like he likes to conserve his ebergy for when he needs it. (thats nto a criticism by the way)

Being wound up by a crowd is one thing...being wound up by players is harder to ignore. I hope he can maintain his temper if he is the main man (which i dont think he should be)

Id love to see Balo and ade together...i think they would thrive off each other...both very clever players and with silva in behind they could take WH apart

I'd love the second one, I think Ade and Balo could be one of the best striker parings in the world!

But Mancini will use the first one with Milner on the wing, no doubt whatsoever.

No problems with Mario playing alone up front, if we give him support. Yaya bursting forward will be essential, but there will be possibly a lack of runners for Silva's through balls without Tevez. But who comes in? Jo? AJ? Ade?

Personally I think Milner will come in on the left, and Balo will start in the Tevez role.

Gabidon has been playing LB for West Ham so I'm thinking it's the perfect game for AJohnson to do some damage!

maybe you did not notice how Mancini has changed his way of being on the field .

I agree with this, although it seems to have gone unnoticed. He definitely doesn't hare about like a lunatic in the way he used to. I think it's an improvement to his game.

Back to the WHU game, it'd be Johnson in for Tevez for me. Front 3 with Silva on the right, AJ on the left and Balo in the middle.
