Well having a quick look at that i would just say we've got it for accessories like pin badges, to put on scarfs etc that we do see in the shop.

I would have thought that football kits are articles of outerclothing... so surely we DO own the relevant IP rights to the badge?

The correct Latin is "Superbia in proelio" for the reasons previously cited by city_gentleman.
