Superbia in Proelio/Praelia

Well having a quick look at that i would just say we've got it for accessories like pin badges, to put on scarfs etc that we do see in the shop.

It's been a long time for me, but the question from this topic can simply be solved by checking Latin grammar.
the Latin preposition "in" is followed by the use of the ablative on the next noun. So "proelium" changes to "proelio".
 
Im sure im not going over the same thing here but ive been told by someone who knows latin that the "pride" bit is a negative pride, as in an arrogant, think too much of yourself kind of pride! so we're going into battle with big heads if you know what i mean!?

To those who do know latin: Is this fella right or just winding me up!?
