Superbia Ticket

How many people are gonna be invited onto this? If say 3000 take it up, nobody else will ever get away tickets!

& thats why its a con & wont work, we all pay £50 extra to get double points yet it wont matter as we wont be able to get tickets for away games. Pointless task.

As one of the perks of Superbia is the option of flying to European games on the team plane it's blatantly obvious they won't be selling 3000 places. They are promising every Superbia member a ticket for EVERY game so have to allow for the smallest possible allocations we may receive to honour this promise. For away cup ties in small grounds this could be under 1000.

It wouldn't surprise me if they only want a couple of hundred, and almost certainly no more than 500.

Still waiting for my Superbia invite (might be wating a while). Bring back standing then the points tally will be irrelevant !

In my opinion the Superbia thing is a joke. My dad has been offered one of these and basically you are paying £2500 for 2000 loyalty points. It says that you will be guaranteed a ticket for every single game but isn't that what the points are for so you can get a ticket for every game with 7000+ points? My dad shouldnt need to pay £2500 for that privilege. Loyalty used to be travelling to Brighton on a wet tuesday night to see City be knocked out of the league cup, not subscribing to matchday programmes.

It's a good point that people on over 7000 points are in practice guaranteed a ticket for every game anyway, so they are getting very little added value for a hefty premium. I suspect a few will feel almost blackmailed to join to keep their hard-earned place at the top.

It'll be of more appeal to people like me on 5000-6000 points who want to go to every game but struggle for a few, but we won't get the invite.

I also think the 2000 points are an unnecessary and crass bribe. These points are wholly irrelevant for as long as you are a Superbia member (because every ticket is guaranteed) and if you drop down to Platinum next year why should you continue to benefit so much from your previous membership level?

I think thats basically a way of saying "Welcome to the Top 4", i dont have a clue what i'm supposed to do, i just want my normal ticket.

They can F*** right of! I have to pay for three seasons cards, got 6500+ points. Think they've had enough out of me. Season tkt for 27 of those 35 years.

The current scheme is not broke so why and fix it. There weren't many games this season that didn't go general sale.

Its easy to be loyal when your club is successful but after that season under Pearce was painful! Anyone who renewed after that shite been offered a game in the first team as a reward.

Another mad scheme to go tits up like the famous family stand balls up

I dont want any of this bollocks, i just want my standard season ticket, will i have to move cause of some stupid gold/platinum thing? I'm not leaving the South Stand.

Don't worry mate I am a south stander too. They basically have changed the name of the season card as we know it to a 'gold membership'. This is however the same as what you have with your season card this season, but next season it will be called a gold membership. It is however the same as a your season ticket this year.

If you add £50 to this your membership will turn into a 'platinum membership' for this extra 50 quid you get online subscription to match day programs and manc magazine plus you get double loyalty points for every game you attend. So for renewing as a gold member at the start of next season you get 190 points which has been standard for years now with a season card. With the platinum membership you get 380 points.

You can get a gold value membership for £260 which is the equivalent of the value seasoncard they did this season where they can seat you anywhere.

They have basically changed the name and introduced a couple of incentives/benefits as an extra cost.

-- Mon May 16, 2011 10:36 pm --

Hahahahaha, I'll play up front ;)

You been invited to purchase it?

Anyway, I wouldn't pay £2,500 even if I was invited.

£410 for me on Platinum from £360 on Gold but they know people don't want to fall down the loyalty point ladder so it's guaranteed at least 90% will renew and pay the extra £50, join all 3 schemes and gain 980 points.

Money >>> Loyalty and it's going to stay that way.

It says this on the FAQ on the os:

Existing members who fail to renew on or before 26th June will be required to pay the increased price. So please make sure you renew before the end of June. DON’T MISS OUT!

I wanna move seats (relocate) and the dates for that doesn't start until 29th. Does this mean I would pay the inflated price to relocate? Did anyone else relocate last year maybe who could clarify
