Every time i see an advert on TV for a City match that's to be shown live, i scream "Come on City!" at the TV. I did this many years ago, and we won, so i've done it every time since (even though we've lost plenty of them!). If i stop doing it, we will lose every game between now and eternity.

Stoke had the away dressing room in their semi-final and won, we had the home dressing room and won. What does this mean? Extra time? A penalty shoot out that never ends?

I need to be away on a business trip between Wednesday and Friday and was planning to stay over for the weekend to see friends. I could also have done with making some arrangements for when I move to this place permanently in a few weeks - buying stuff for the new flat and so on.

But, of course, bollocks to all that. I'm flying back on Saturday morning so that I can view the match from my lucky vantage point on my sofa from where I watched the semi final.
