Brilliant, absolutely class player!!

Cheers. I was at a few of those games.... forgot just how good he was!

Yea, he was mint. Most Maradonna-esque player since... Maradonna. He also tried it on with an ex girlfriend of mine a few years back. I was quite chuffed! :D

(nice try at pretending that you aren't Tygerfeet, btw ;)

I didn't really want Hughes as manager and then his first signing was TBH, and I was totally under whelmed. However, all in all I don't think the body of work, he has done a bad job, sure we look a soft touch on the road(not something that's a new experience for us), I question his team selection, but let's not forget we are less than 2 years removed from a team the struggled to score 10 goals at home all season. Sure the rags might turn us over on Sunday and with the way the refs have been this year I would put money on some bad "luck" in the game, but our final place will be determined not how we do against the "big 4" but how we do playing the 6 teams around us(3 above 3 below at the end of the season).

What I want to know is why Hughes' supporters think he is good enough to manage us and give us reasons as to why he should be our manager rather than giving him time because that would be a nice and sensible thing to do.

Yesterday the first half was absolutely atrocious, some of the worst 'football' I've seen at the new ground, much worse than anything under Pearce. The fact we have some brilliant individuals who created and scored a couple of great goals only really papered over the cracks. That's gonna get shot down, I know how daft it sounds but it's certainly my opinion on what happened yesterday.

Yep, it's daft. Absolute rubbish in fact. Worse than Pearce! HAHAHAHA!

he has'nt had a season yet, we need to look at him with the 11 players he wants in the team and not a mish mash of the last 3 managers.i like the guys attitude, his work ethic and his strength when dealing with mard arses.as i have said many times if we are still in this position in 12 months then yes he should be replaced, with what we are going to spend over the next two windows we need to be top 6 all season.to those that dismiss him because he's an ex rag is just plain silly.

Why would we create songs about Hughes right now? He has still won 2 in 9 games.

............and so, the thread descends into yet another Anti-Hughes thread, as the OP was hoping for.

Sadly, you are totally wrong there Gaudino....

But hey, you haven't taken any notice and addressed the points raised in any other posts about Hughes so why break the habit of a lifetime and start understanding what other people (who have views that are different to yours) have to say.

I started this post to see if there wa an appetite to get some Hughes songs going, because to date both on here and in the stadium I have noticed a distinct lack of any such mood... but there you go... keep you post count climbing with insignificant meaningless remarks.... It truely does not concern me...
