Mentioned the game being on open sale to a mate at work from Coventry, he jumped at the chance to go to see the likes of Aguerro and Co, registered for 5 City cards at a cost of £50 and was then told that he couldn't buy tickets for the Napoli game because he had no "purchase history"

I called to buy the tickets as the website sales were pulled.... They told me no problem, that'll be £2.50 per ticket booking fee...... The whole process and the shambolic way he was dealt with on the phone before I called will frighten any newcomers right off

My Brother was able to get to the ground today to buy the tickets in person and what dd he get? Top tier, Row fucking Z..... We did need 6 together but I find it hard to believe there weren't any lower......

I'm embarrassed to have told him "it's a piece of piss to register and buy seats"

I just hope we kick their arses tomorrow so I'll have an ounce of credibility left.....

im having the opposite problem! too much CS got 1 email to say they took the money another to confirm my seat then a text message to confirm my seat then another email confirming my seat lol :D

City's statement on GC resinging thanked him for improving 'Supporter Services'.....eh? They're having a stinker! My season card delivered on the day the season started, then i found someone else sat im my seat. Now i've been debited twice for my Napoli ticket and having been relocated for the UEFA corporate family have not yet been told yet where i'm sat on Weds. Never known anything like this, can't get hold of anyone by phone (30 mins no answer) and getting an automated response to e-mails saying they will be replied to in 10 days! If it wasn't for the tannoy every game thanking me for my magnicent support i'd be thinking the ticket office didn't like me ;-)

I've now lost my sense of humour cos i've no fcking idea where i'm sat tomorrow! Thanks Dubai Blue, glimmer of hope with your idea of asking staff to scan card at ground.
 
My favourite bit is when you've been on hold for 10/20/30/40 minutes and then get the beep of death

It really is unbelievable considering the clubs ambitions, you'd think the first thing they'd do would be to sort the tickets out..

A few weeks ago, my cousin was over from Dublin, he's 15 and supports United. My Mum rang me (she works at the MRI and some bloke told her there were tickets on open sale for the Spurs game) and she wanted me to ring Old Trafford to get a ticket for him.

"Well there goes the rest of the day," I thought. So I rang up the number from their website and after 2 rings a local lass called Natasha answered. She said that there were only tickets available for the 3rd tier, but they are shifting pretty quick. I said that the 3rd tier is miles away from the pitch and he was over for his first match etc...She put me on hold, the music was the stone roses!!! Anyway, she comes back on. There's no seats left in the rest of the stadium, but if I want, she'll put my name on a list and ring me back if someone cancels. I said okay. 1 hour later, Natasha phones me back and sells me a ticket for a seat directly above the players tunnel, my cousin said he could hear the players roaring at each other before they walked onto the pitch.

75,498 people attended that game, and Natasha rang me back to sell just one ticket.
