Surreal Moments at City Games

Cheers for finding that. Honestly it was proper foggy, it doesn't look too bad on the video.
Took forever to drive home.

Anyway, at the first home game of the season probably in the 70's, message over the tannoy introducing our new Star centre forward......

Fucking Bernie Clifton on the ostrich thing comes on the pitch and runs about a bit.

After a match at Forest in the 80s 4 of us went in their social club after the game. Left after a couple of pints and set off to walk to the train station. In the car park a very young Des Walker was stood by his car, A shitty old Lancia I think, he asked if he would give him a push as it wouldn't start. We said we would as long as he gave us a lift to the station. Gave him a push and we all squeezed in. Got him to stop at an offy for cans and dropped us at the station, seemed like a sound lad but think he was probably shitting himself. Can't imagine that happening nowadays!!

Watching a match via a stream on a phone was a surreal moment?
City were playing away in the cup against who ever. For some reason no cameras were at the ground so no streams were available. Josh ? who posted on here at the time was at the match and set up a link and relayed it back somehow.

Ingerbrigsten hat trick and a Kernaghan screamer in the same match against Leicester in the FA cup.
Mansfield in the autosheild felt surreal.
Pollock attempted pass back against QPR.
Spurs QF FA cup pitch invasion.
Gareth Taylor turning into a world beater against Fulham.
Hitting the wood work several times against Bolton before getting beat.

Sir Joseph of Barton getting sent off for showing his arse to Spurs players or fans who were goading him as he made his way off the pitch at half time 3 - 0 down in the infamous comeback win cup game.
It was Everton fans he showed his arse to, after a game at Goodison. Which reminds me of the guy who chained himself to the goalpost at one of our games there.
