I didn’t know that, wasn’t Suzi from Detroit? That would explain the motor connection.

Yes , she IS from Detroit .... she was born there in 1950 to an Hungarian mother , and her Italian immigrant father worked at General Motors.

Suzi Quatro still spends plenty of time in Detroit to this very day ..... spending the rest of her time in Hamburg with her 2nd husband (a German national - they live apart by choice) .. and in Essex , where she has now lived for almost 40 years.
