Looks like he's gonna get booted from mexico so would be available and for no comp (not that its an issue), but would you have him back till the end of the season and see how he does. Sven with big money would be better than Hughes. Players love him, press do to and he loved the club...only one that didn't like him was Frank. Get him back in and see what happens, if it doesnt improve then move for a long term replacement. Thoughts?

I would. Maybe it's not right blaming what happened in the second part of the season on Frank, but I don't know...I feel things really didn't end the way they should have with Sven and I'd have him back. Sacking MH is a different thing IMO, he has seemingly full backing and all the money he wants.

What use would the money be if we only had him 'til the end of the season?
I agree though, people respect him and that's what City need.
Would love to have him back, but with a coaching staff made of stronger stuff to keep the discipline in shape and to do the shouting when needed...but not all the time because we need a manager who encourages players not hurls abuse at them - which I'm sure Hughes does.

Do you reckon Hughes does hurl abuse at them? I'm not so sure. I thought when he came on board we would have no more embarrassing defeats as he would get everyone committed, we'd see 100% from every player as they'd be shit scared of him..............obviously not the case at all

Can't see it happening though. IF Hughes is to be replaced, ADUG will already know who they want, and IMO, the only manager that would fit their criteria is Jose.

I wouldn't be too upset if he came back but Josie would be top of my list. Also I can't really see the point in a short term appointment, look how well Sven performed second half of last season knowing he had no future at the club.
