Lovely man, have fond memories of his tenure at City apart from the Middlesbrough mauling. Very sad news RIP Sven.

That was because the players knew Sven was getting sacked so downed tools. That to me speaks absolute volumes of how brilliant and highly thought of Sven was by our players and a testament to the man himself.

RIP Sven Goran Eriksson A life well lived.

Always struck me as a very knowledgeable Football Manager who played his part in our rise, he behaved with class and dignity whilst managing us, and also managed to have a full and happy personal life. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
