Won't be easy, but we have to win this one.

Taking 3 points and going back to the top of the table before all the other teams play will have a massive physiological affect on the other teams chasing us. They know they can't afford to fall another 3 points behind City in the race for the title and CL places.

Arsenal and Liverpool have easy games, but Chelsea go to Southampton and United are at home to Spurs. Something has to give in those 2 games, especially United V Spurs.

Lose and other teams will pull away(Arsenal 4 pints) and get closer(United 4 pints if they beat Spurs)

Nowt like stating the obvious .

Need a good performance and more importantly a win, sends out a message that our away form has improved dramatically, need Negredo to start scoring more away from home and Nasri to repeat his previous home performance against the Swans.

This game is where Swansea will play the best football they have this deals as per usual so we need to play with energy and determination

Southern shandy drinking wankers could never put away 4 pints lol

Difficult game but very winnable.

Good news is that the Swans aren't the type to park the bus but as we've seen at Liberty in the past, they'll be pressing the heck out of us to try and stop our flow of play and win back possession.
Nasri will need to be on his A game in Merlin's absence and we'll need The Beast to start putting a few into the back of the net away from home. 4-2-3-1 formation should do so they won't pass their way through our midfield which is their bread-n-butter.

If Zaba and Jimmy are up for it.

We are now into the business half of the season.

We now play a different style to when RM was in charge and I expect us to slap these all over Wales.

4-5-1 and no messing about.

Going top of the pile will put pressure on the challengers.

Do you mean psychological effect? Don't mean to be the grammar police, but it is confusing your message.

Which bit? ;-)

My guess would be

Hart
Zabaleta
Kompany
Nastasic
Kolarov
Garcia
Fernandinho
Yaya
Nasri
Navas
Negredo

I suppose he could rest Navas and play Kolarov in midfield with Clichy behind him, Nasri on the right. But I think he might just push through with Navas and rest the guy vs Blackburn.

Obvs you'd like to think he'd play Rodwell, but if we play 5 in midfield, It'll be Garcia.
