It actually wouldn't surprise me hugely if we took our eye off the ball and got knocked out. I don't say I wish it. I shall never want us to get knocked out of any competition. But it honestly wouldn't surprise me. Swansea, incidentally, have a very good defensive record in the Championship. The best across all four divisions. They will also want revenge (Sergio scored an offside goal if I remember rightly).

I’d love to see at least 3 of Palmer, Doyle, Delap, Bernabe and McAtee on the bench and if we were winning comfortably by the 70 min mark (which is no given) let a couple get some time. I’d love to see McAtee and maybe some more of Delap. Just a cameo for any of them would be nice as we do get 5 subs to use.

Tottenham will play against Everton tonight. So they have a hard game. They have to use their best formation. So they will come to etihad with an exhausted squad.
We have to use our best formation too. I love to see Laporte-Stones pairing but unfortunately pep will play Dias.
This is a tough game and We have a very tight game schedule so Pep will use a strong line-up and also wil try to rest some players.
