I think Pep will go a lot stronger than many expect.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Ederson start, considering Pep didn't commit to Steffen playing in his press conference.

Don't think Garcia plays.

agreed, Pep will definitely go strong but almost sure Ederson won’t start. Steffen is the domestic cup keeper. Pep stuck with Bravo and he won us a few cups so he’ll stick with Steffen who is even better.

That said, posters only need to look back to the game two years ago where Swansea almost knocked us out but we came back and won with an offside goal.We played a strong team:

Ederson (think Bravo was injured)
Walker
Otamendi
Laporte
Delph
Gundogan
David Silva
Bernardo
Mahrez
Aguero
Sane

I like to go and have a look at the opposition's forum before a match to see what they're saying ahead of the game.

God I'm grateful for Bluemoon. So many of the others are just a mess. The pre-match thread on PlanetSwans is 80% throwbacks to irrelevant games of years ago and 20% discussion of the actual match. Then there's places like RedCafé where swearing is censored to make everyone sound Irish, or RAWK where negative posts are deleted. We don't know how good we have it.

Here's an excerpt from a Swansea fan post:

"Man City, now have a womens team, they are called Woman City, this keeps them in tune morally and genderly with todays millennial chipmunks. Founded in 1880 as St. Mark's (West Gorton) which is a stupid name they changed it to Manchester City after that. When you think the club formed four years after the death of General, Colonel, Lieutenant Colonel George Armstrong Custer after being surrounded by Sue and her mates it makes you realise how old the club is. In 1956 they had a fisherman goalkeeper called Bert Trautmann, a Jerry, who has to put up with some tremendous abuse in professional football in the fifties.Whilst the people of Manchester were still putting their windows back in after years of trying to buy windows after the war ended, there was much hostility. However Bert won their hearts in the 1956 final which Man City won. During the game he broke his neck but continued playing. It was later revealed he also played with two broken legs, a broken wrist, multiple bum lacerations from the then spiked stud and a slight graze to his elbow. The latter was treated with beer, Trautmann refused all treatment and the next day ran home to his house in Berlin, which also had no windows. So, a lovely story there from history." [sic]

This is the level we're dealing with here. There can be some shite on Bluemoon but this? Ho. Ly. Shit.

Some of us have jobs ;-)
I normally work until 5. And I live about 90 seconds' drive from the job. So I would be good. As it happens, I'm laid off at the moment, thanks to the Covid lockdown. So, no excuses for me this evening. Though I do have to finish that red and white crocheted duvet cover to try to finish. So I might do that instead. Catch the Everton/Spurs game later on.

As many kids and 2nd choice players as possible, nightmare few fixtures coming up.

CL and Prem main objective.

I know where you are coming from but for me this is all about momentum, keep winning and building the confidence. Maybe rest a couple of players but I would still be going strong.
