If the part is that of interested onlooker, then yes. :-(
If he wasn't fit enough to make the bench last night, I doubt he'll feature at all on Saturday.

There should be more scope to have him on the bench on Saturday (if he's fit enough) than yesterday. Given that we already had half fit players such as Stones & Delph on the bench it was too big a risk to include a third. If he doesn't feature at all on Saturday its difficult to see how he's going to get another chance this season.

Defence depends on fitness, if he thinks stones and/or laporte needs time they'll get it, if he thinks they need rest thej garcia to come in, if Mendy is available he would get the nod at left back. Gundogan to continue in the holding role as he needs all the time he can get to learn the intricacies of that role, Delph to play ahead of him with Foden.

Sterling Aguero and bernardo shouldn't be moving off the bench unless absolutely necessary. They need the rest. No dramas, professional performance comfortable win and go into the break on a high

Think you may be right with that.

Am mightily impressed by Zinchenko this year.A real bonus and I think pep may well look for another left back as mendy's injury seems incurable unless it's a smokescreen for something. He does tend to celebrate very considerably

I watched the Swansea game against Norwich last week and even though they lost 1-0 they looked the better side for large parts of the game. The team is unrecognisable from the one that was relegated from the Prem. Its full of young players who looked fast and keen.

Definitely not a game to be taken for granted. Strong team please Pep then some rest for a lot of the players.

I think Ota will be back after his suspension,
Laporte should have another rest, he didn't look 100% fit.

If Stones isn't ready, we might see Walker - Danilo - Ota - Zin/Delph.

Dinho won't play, no way.

Generally I think Pep wants the next Wembley match and will go strong,
Foden maybe subbed on again.

Swansea at West Brom tonight.
