I am literally feeling sick with dread. I have a pain. It'd be bad enough anyway if we missed out, but to have THEM take 4th spot to the exclusion of us would be unbearable.

I don't think I can stand the suspense.

Get a grip Swifty, all will be fine, remember you could have been born a Villa fan, or Geordie, we are more or less in a play off final that we only need to draw. So be confident, and, if worse come to worse, the sun will still shine tomorrow!

Fucking media black out from here to the Euros if that happens. Unthinkable.

Please no drama today city. Can we just have an early goal and then a dire rest of game so I can relax. Not going to happen is it...

Calm down blue, we'll be fine

Can either see this being an easy 3-0 win or both sides strolling about in the sun quite happy to go home with a point each

Just a few hours to go until this interminable season finally ends! Been like a waiting game ever since it became clear Pellegrini's reign was coming to an end, and despite the Cups, it's been like a trip to the dentists.

Next season promises a new start.

The sun won't shine for me tomorrow if we lose out, though - but at least it is in our own hands

Doesn't matter. We are about to embark on one of the most exciting periods this Club of ours has ever known. Win, lose or draw today - that fact does not change. Ask yourself which of the two - us or those wankers @ Trafford - has the greatest cause for genuine optimism for the future years? City. And regardless of what happens today, that does not change.

Still - let's do it and do it right today boys!

4th or football and the summer is cancelled.
I hear they may cancel the Euros if we do not make the Champions League—something about the tournament not worth it if all of the players linked with City (half of those participating) can't play more European football for Pep next season. The effort to impress him would be for not.

Heard it here first.

This wouldn't be nearly as nerve wracking if it was anyone but the rags competing for 4th. But as long as we manage to avoid defeat today, it will quickly become one of the very few highlights of an otherwise abysmal season (Carling Cup not withstanding).

This has become an official City supporters * for all critical comments these days.

I feel as though we should just shorten it to *COCNW

I take your point but the CC gave us a couple of days of enjoyment and three days later, the Dippers humiliated us at theirs. And there have been soooo many bad days. We conceded seven against the Dippers home and away, six v the Spuds and Leicester City outplayed us at ours. Plus no derby win for us but one for them. Plus chucking the F A Cup at the Bridge and shipping five as a result and then the most insipid performance in the C L ever. And who could forget Stoke, Norwich and Villa away.

Swansea's Euro 2016-bound quartet Ashley Williams, Neil Taylor, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Lukasz Fabianski will all be rested. Goalkeeper Kristoffer Nordfeldt will make his Premier League debut but Jefferson Montero and Alberto Paloschi are out with hamstring injuries. Manchester City's Aleksandar Kolarov is a doubt, while Samir Nasri is available again after illness.
