Swansea fans

Can only verify about the semi, total disgrace.
And the only one scum from the Mcr-area Ive talked to who was actually there, was disgusted. He was almost in shock himself about the behaviour of his "fellow" scums.

iv not missed a derby game at city for 11 years now. and i can safely say iv never witnessed any of this.

but if someone types it on a football forum then surely its gotta be true aint it ? like fixers car crash etc

Whit whooo, you've not missed a derby game in 11yrs. So by that reckoning you're still a pup?

Go and ask the big boys what used to happen then you may have an idea?

Nobody is saying that we were all saints at Maine Rd or OT but things have moved on since then but unfortunately some of your dickheads haven't.

I suggest a word with a 60 odd yr old Mr Hamilton might put you right if you want to speak to him about the semi-final. After all he was quite happy tripping up a bloke with his wife and kids. And don't tell me that is bullshit as i witnessed it with my own eyes.

Any more 'facts' you want to discuss as i'm happy to go back to the late 70's if you want to talk about derby games and it kicking off? Apart from a while in the mid 80's when i was abroad, but i still came back for a few.

i wish i was a pup mate, but iv done the last 11 on the trot, missed a few for all sorts of reasons.

i think people need to realise that whilst singing your lovely munich songs behind lines of police and inside your southstand on the concourse whilst fully blocked off from us may be a jolly good laugh for you. dont moan if you come unstuck after the game or when there is no police around.

i dont doubt for a second that a united fan (wont be a hooligan or a "main face") could of attacked anyone or said some nasty things (these famous stories on BM could quite be fantasy tales). im sure that we have had the reverse of that.

i just very much doubt that our lads/faces would be bothered about going after kids, women in wheel chairs, old men with walking sticks etc etc

PMSL, you fucking numpty.

I bet you're tooled up wearing your black goggle coat from Primark while typing this, aren't you?

You fucking cowards were shown up at the Charity Shield weren't you?

Same old United, only 'hardmen' when it suits them and when the numbers suits them.

Take your attendance and hooligan fixation (typical red) and fuck off back to sad issue.

You sad, sad man.

(Sorry, I sound like Danny dyer here when I have no interest in Hooliganism!)

ok then... i went to the semi with my dad and
younger brother a long with some lads from a local pub.
i was walking up wembley way before the game and wearing
my shirt and scarf, im in my teens and i wouldn't of looked like
id cause any body any bother. i got slpit up from the rest of the group
but carried on walking up to try and catch up, when some cockneys
dressed in tracksuits approached me and started punching
me in the face for no reason.

one of them said "fuck off you manc bastard", which i found hilarious.
anyway i told them to grow up which earned me a few more
punches to the face, anyway they went off to pick on others.
then i look to my right to see a man in his 40s wearing a city shirt
with his wife and two young kids getting spat at and pushed.
the kids were crying.

anyway my dads a big man, talking 6"3 and built, hes walking
up about 50 yards in front of me and he sees whats going on
so goes to help some city fans being pushed, all the man u chavs see
him coming and when i say run, they ran like the fucking wind.
a mate of mine who's a rag went to the game and actually text me
just before kick off saying "this is embarrassing, sorry." another mate
who him and his dad are chelsea fans but go to loads of different games
bought some tickets off some blues who couldnt go and said united fans
are the worst they had seen.

anyway then we got in the ground and you know the rest.

1-0 yaya.

Men of Harlech is a welsh military song. Its not just Cardiff who sing it or own the 'rights' to sing it.

My great, great uncle wrote this song.
What, in the late 18th century?

As for "Hymns and Arias" being "traditional", I suppose Max Boyce (who wrote it 40 years ago) is already a Welsh tradition.

John Ceiriog Hughes

A shame the thread got derailed.

Anyway, I thought Swansea's support was bang on the other night and it was good to see a vocal away following with decent numbers. Result aside, they looked like they enjoyed their first PL game and I hope they stay up as they play attractive, easy-on-the-eye football.

Get to fuck you twatting numpty. You are advocating (or at the very least excusing) violence based on some fans singing nasty songs.

Get a life you fucking knuckle dragging neanderthal.

The only reason your "oh so unimpressive" lunatic noir-fringe go after the women and kids is they get a pasting anytime there are even numbers.

ps- Your repeated use of the term "faces" is missing an "e" so please stop misspelling "faeces".

The singing of Munich songs is inexcusable but I find it absolutely laughable that some Rags are defending the behaviour of of the knuckle-dragging elements of their support and claiming it's a justified retaliation to City fans singing about Munich. That's a complete and utter crock of shit, firstly because I doubt very much that every blue on the end of a slap was making reference to Munich, and secondly because you can bet your fucking mortgage that the majority of those cunts dishing it out have sung sick songs at football matches themselves.

I wonder if they feel the same set of rules should apply when the Rags belt out a number from their repertoire of greatest hits ranging from Aberfan to Keegan's dad to Hillsborough to Heysel to Istanbul to Foe to Russian submarines.

Well, I can't remember which version I learnt at school, but - after a lot of googling - "rewrote it" seems accurate, though the "Zulu" English language version seems to have caught on. Anyway, as he wrote Dafydd y Garreg Wen, I'm impressed.

I take exception to this post.
WTF has even numbers got to do with rags vermin?
after the cup tie at the swamp a few years back (the chuckle head butt game), about four hours after the game these hard men came into a blue pub, well, three came in in plain clothes, two walked through to the bogs and got on their phones to the rest of their manky mob, only two or three blues were left in the pub (lunchtime kick off, after game pint or two and home for tea before heading back out again type day), rags seeing they had the numbers then had another 12 - 15 come in and start giving it all the usual shit, two blues (ex service of 40+ and 50+) were getting a lot of earache, four surrounded me at the bar, the rest followed my mate to the bogs (they seem to be like that), one look at the pint glass and mhen into the ringleaders face was enough for him to decide that he didnt want to know, similar story from my mate in the bog, take out the mouth and the rest are chickenshit.
They thought they would "take the pub" but were so afraid even with 6 or 8 against 1 numbers advantage they wouldnt start incase they got dicked.
It was pleasent to hear that after we had left the bar that evening to make our way back home, they started kicking the shit out of each other about "who had bottled it"

I have met a few rag fans that I can have a decent chat with while over in Manchester (which sadly isnt as often now as it was a few years ago when i was doing 18 - 20 games a sesaon) but far too many both in Manchester and especially over here are just arrogant wankers all talk and no bottle.

Now back on the choccy bar, Swansea were what i expected, a loud and passionate support that will enjoy their season in the top flight, and from what I have seen of the way they play will be a joy to watch, but will get some drubbings on their travels, and will be one of my first choices for the goals galore section on the coupon (giving me an added reason to watch them if on at a different time than us), & I wish them well & hope they stay up.
