As I said earlier, he generally gets it right. The way he calls Toure Yaya and Balotelli for instance, is spot on.

However I think he gets Aguero wrong. But we will just have to ask the man himself or any Argentines on the board to know for sure.

Overall though, I don't see how attempting to say their names legitimately is condescending. If anything I appreciate the extra effort he goes to. Attention to detail and all that. And i'm sure foreigners appreciate English people actually trying rather than just using a bastardised version of it.

I can't wait til he commentates on us and Stoke, so I can finally hear someone pronounce John Carew they way it's meant to be, 'Yon Kar-ev'

His lack of excitement bothers me. He seems like he doesn't care, most commentators manage to get me into games I don't care about if they show a little enthusiasm.
