Swansea - Post match thread

Good display to restrict them to 4 shots on goal.

I really thought over the ninety minutes we were the better side especially in the first half and did all the running,

On another day we could have scored 6 and we wouldn't be talking about getting out of jail.

Deserved victory and the scoreline didn't reflect our dominance which happens sometimes.

Onto Bournemouth.

Should have been out of sight in first half.
Jesus is awesome!!
What a piece of business

As bad as Clichy is no more midfielders playing at full back. We are going to have to wing it for the rest of this season with both Kolarov and Clichy

Nope, the dinho experiment should be history, he looked so out of place but the thing that shocked me was his distribution, he gave the ball away 4/5 times in the 1st half alone....

I disagree. Of course he's going to struggle initially, but there were some good signs there too. I wouldn't expect him to be great from day one(and RB isn't the concern tbh), but given time next season there he could be valuable.

Also, Yaya Toure was fecking immense today. He was all over the field. Fair play Yaya.

Silva's instinct is to pass, he should realise people don't mind if he puts his foot through it a few times when it's there to be hit, if it doesn't go in fair enough. Other than that he was great again today. It's funny because Aguero is the opposite end of the spectrum he could have cushioned that header at the end back to Jesus, I suppose we make to much of these things they don't normally have much time to decide so they really are running on instinct and people would still complain it was the wrong decision if it doesn't result in a goal.

Thank fuck for that, first and second halves completely chalk and cheese, game should have been to put to bed first half, and when they equalised I felt it was deja vu Everton boro Southampton all over again but up pops g.jesus what a player this lad is already ...On a side note people and pundits saying willy was poor for their goal his view was blocked by a player in an offside position and seen the shot late, also he made a fantastic save from a freekick had little else to do all game..

People will focus about his goals but his passing really impressed me. He could dropp deep and was comfortable doing first time passes to runners getting in behind. And he did it several times.

Exactly. Quick in his decision making, sharp in his actions. The way he sets up David, he scores there and it's game over. Very important also that he can keep his composure when the pressure is mounting, the team desperately needs that mental strength...

The boy is having a huge, huge impact in City's game already. My concern is the lack of protection he is bound to get wearing City's shirt. Defenders can -and will- get ugly with him. Guardiola has to prepare him for that...
