Great first half, thought Pep didn't react to the impressive way Swansea matched us in the 2nd half. Luckily we got the last minute goal but for a while we flattered to deceive again in the second half and we could have lost points.

That was a terrible decision what the fuck could he have done to get out of the wayI don't remember an arsenal player being brought down in the box then booked for diving?
You could actually sense the change of the match direction when Sterling got booked. The Swansea players realised they had a little extra help and could attack without fear of soft bookings.
Perfect first half, nerve racking and frustrating second. never been so glad to score a goal at the very end (well ok there was THAT game/year). We needed this match to drag us back into the champions league zone...

3 points- That is all that matters. Think we all knew with Clichy/Kolarov at the back we would concede at some point. Amazing job by Jesus our saviour.

I fear our inconsistency will keep us from doing anything spectacular this season, at one point in the first half I counted 7 or 8 swans in their 6-yard box during open play, I don't see how we go from that dominance to to a limp second half that nearly turned into a disaster...

We played some great stuff in that 1st half but against and mainly in front of a packed defence. We overplay the ball so much that we lose tempo and then can't seem to regain it when the opposition step up theirs. Large parts of the game were like watching a training session. In the 2nd half Jesus got isolated just like Kun does. KdB seems like a spare part at times when deeper (picks up bookings etc). Pep dodged a bullet here because he took to long to react to their change in strategy. I'd still like to see a Muller type player up front as well.

why you've singled out Kolarov alongside Clichy is beyond me. He's a better central defender than Stones.3 points- That is all that matters. Think we all knew with Clichy/Kolarov at the back we would concede at some point. Amazing job by Jesus our saviour.

He said he didn't know if it was Silva or not... regardless they showed the replay from several angles and agreed Silva was not in his line of sight, end of story.No he didn't. He said he was unable to see the shot due to players in the way. He couldn't answer on whether it was Silva or not.

Nearly put my foot through the tv over him,he's become so frustrating goes forward then turnsand passes it back,something kolarov does as well although his problem is he forgets to then go back himself..Clichy is finished at the very top I think. Will undoubtedly be addressed in the summer.

stones could have done better for the goal I thought , Clichy i agree fully, way past his best. Can 't play as well as we did first half and only go in 1-0 up.Stones was good .if anyone's to be blame its gael clichy .we struggled in second to play out and get our attacking players in the game and if we play with one holding midfielder we need our full backs to be able to play out and break defensive lines and we struggled to do that.gael clichy is a defensive liability and does nothing to improve our build up . Sterling I agree , needs to improve his all round play struggles to play in between the lines

Right boys, here's the plan today: we're going to give the ball to stones, stones I want you to pass to Kolarov, then kolarov I want you to pass to Clichy, Then clichy pass to stones and repeat this process for 90 minutes. Ideal
Except thats not a reflection of the game we just watched is it?
Felt Like it did under Mancini when we had to dig deep and find a winner. Loved the fight in the team todayI fucking love last minute winners. That front 3 is going to be very special.

Not going to win the league this season so we are just building for next. We have lowered the age of the squad and when we get the back line sorted out we will be some team. We are clearly going all out for the champions league and fa cup this season. Top 4 looking more promising after that result today.
