I am hoping yesterday's result has put some much needed confidence back into our game albeit I am concerned about us defensively as a back four and overall collectivley at the moment.

I think De Bruyne needs a rest. Playing so many games which have included the league cup tie's and internationals in addition to the league and Champions League games, maybe it is looking too much, I don't know.

I would like to see the team that finished the BMG game - start against Swansea. Same mindset - be 5-0 up at half time. Then Pellers can sub. when he wants.
We need to put out a statement to the PL that City are going to smash most teams.

So the 60th minute, followed by the 70th and 80-85th then?

KDB to be benched for this game. As long as there's no major injuries i think we will see Silva and KDB interchange starting positions over Christmas, keeping them relatively fresh should be key.

Bony to start upfront, putting in a cross for him would be helpful.

Think we'll be OK this week- now that CL finished till Feb. I get the feeling the CL is being prioritised somewhat and that Pellegrini's happy to just stay in the running with the league until the business end of the season. As fans we want to win every game but in the bigger picture if we're in touch with 6 games to go we will win the league.

Finally get a win under our belt... Time to get back to normal business, they haven't got a manager and we should be able to smash them for a few. The second half last night was much more like city at home and we need to carry on that momentum into christmas, the Arsenal game coming up is huge and will be our biggest test of the season.

How many times do we seem to play a side that has just sacked or employed a new manager? It always seems to lift a side even if it is temporary. If they have had the hump with the old manager they are happy and probably play better,or they are trying to impress the new man if one is appointed.

It will be interesting to see if Rodgers goes back there,he might see it as a backward step. Moyes would jump at it,it is perfect for him,not a lot of expectation and the way their season is going anything would be seen as an improvement.I wonder who the Swansea fans fancy?

It shouldn't matter. Villa went straight back to being shit the game after we played them. They may have ran around a bit more but they are still shit and we should have beaten them. Had Sterling and De Bruyne not fucked up, we would have.

Swansea at home, I would expect to beat whoever is coming in. If we don't I think it will be down to how we have played rather than what they do. I think a relatively straightforward win should be had in this one.

I'd go:
Hart
Sagna
Otamendi
Mangala
Kolarov
Fernandinho
Toure
Navas
Silva
Sterling
Bony

Bench: Caballero, Demichelis, Clichy, Delph, De Bruyne, Aguero, Iheanacho

3-0 City.

Fucks sake they'll all be auditioning for the new gaffer and get the typical new boss 3 points.

And fucking Brenda might be back. This is the worst.

They could announce Ancelotti tomorrow morning, we should still be beating this current Swansea side comfortbaly on Saturday. No excuses, play to the best of our ability and we will win.
