Ha. Honestly, I was never worried.
I’ve not seen their manager’s comments, what did he say?
I’m afraid you’re right about Delph. You could see how frustrated Laporte was getting in the first half. Delph leaves so much space that his fellow defenders have to constantly cover for him. He also doesn’t seem to have an6 kind of rapport with Sane. Zinchenko and Sane have an almost telepathic understanding. That was a huge, huge result for this team and some of the players in it.
Some of our fans are so, so simple minded though.
Slating Sane's performance is just madness. He literally had Delph planted 10 yards behind him stationary, which allowed Swansea to park two players in front of him.Laporte also looked a mess until he left the field...no coincidence there. It was a shocking, shocking showing from Delph and Zinchenko literally put him to shame and did to him tonight what Kelechi did to Bony. We won't see Delph again this season methinks.
I thought Gundogan did his usual Samir Nasri impression of doing the bare minimum until the game turned, he really is a player who looks good when we're playing good and invisible otherwise.
What a performance from Bernardo and the subs, fantastic.
Fair play to Bersant Celina. I felt he was offloaded too soon and unfairly at the time and his comments and attitude we great. He said he wanted to show us what we missed out on and fair play to him for getting such a good finish. He's going to be some player.
Their manager is also an absolute class act, those comments after the game were great and he stopped BT from saying it wasn't a penalty.
In all seriousness, I think the last gasp slide tackle is a Delph trademark that he used to good effect last season. Unfortunately, if he's a tiny bit off the pace through injury or lack of match fitness, it makes him just that split second slower, and great tackles become late tackles and a decent player becomes a liability. That's the deceptive thing about Delph, he's actually rather two-footed. The problem is, so too are his challenges. :-(

Decisions even themselves out over a season, so I'm told when one goes against us.
Class act.The perfect riposte. Impossible to argue with that. He's clever
