Swansea (QF) Post Match thread

He's fast becoming my favourite City player and it's a crowded field.

You're right, his goal was magnificent tonight, he has that in him, he's so skilful, on so many levels, but it's his work rate that impresses me more than anything else, it's phenomenal, he's like a supercharged little terrier!

Completely agree and the night he starred for Monaco against us at home everyone could see what he had as he was the best player on the park that night.

Will be a City legend up there with anyone by the end of his career.

Thought Swansea played very well until tiring after 60 mins, we looked beat until that first goal by the superb Bernado, and after that we pushed harder and got some lucky decisions( which had they gone against us, 75% of posters on here would be scambling for the agenda thread). So fair dos to Swansea and bad luck. Did not look like it was our day but the way these players keep going when it doesnt look good is a real important quality if you want to win things.Really think Pep wants this cup.
So glad that we shut the BT match pundits up, that MCmanaman tart was chuckling and laughing at every thing that went against us when we were behind and I thought it sounded petty, especially as his darling dippers dont want cups laa. Also all the media, journos, rag/dipper wankers suckling on the sweet teet of gloat had it snatched away and replaced with the bitter taste of controversial defeat, love it. Bring on the semis.

Shearer on MOTD: It's just a pen, defender catches his left leg.

Then Ince pipes up, not a pen, some pundits don't even hide the bias towards anything we do.

What do you call some like Ince who played for Liverpool and United?

A ripper?
A dag? - in Australia this means "A dangling lock of sheep’s wool matted with dung.
A dripper? - Urban Dictionary - when sitting on the crapper for a long time after the poop comes out and your ass starts to leak a fluid that is not quite water but is clear and thick and greasy.

Hugely relieved to win that in normal time as would have took a draw at half time, saving another 30 minutes on that pitch in heavy rain. Sergio once again does the business, game changed massively once the substitutions were made.Swansea played very well and Celinas goal was almost City like.
Can’t wait for Fulham game and another Wembley trip, let’s hope Fulham get a draw tomorrow against Liverpool.

Great comeback, like Schalke away. Boost for the confidence and diificult matches ahead.

Delph a clear penalty.
2-0 was chaos in our defense: Ota following inside, but Walker wasn't back, Ilkay didn't close the gap. Oh dear...
Pep's changes were correct but logical as well.
Raz clear pen, let alone for pulling his shoulder, defender shouldn't be surprised at all. Sergio being lucky for own goal.

2-3 was offside, but honestly,
Swansea players were half dead by then (after their great pressing 1st half)
and no way City wouldn't have won the extra time easily.

Before the 1-2 I had it looked they won't score at all today, they didn't have any faith, it seemed.
After the 1-2 and enough time left I was sure the equalizer would come and extra time would save us at least.

I am happy to be in the draw tomorrow and for that great team comeback.

Well done lads on a difficult afternoon!!!

A dripper, no doubt at all.
