Swansea (QF) Post Match thread

Tremendous comeback by the boys.
That aside the continued poor form of Mahrez has to be a concern, woeful again Tonight.
Plus where the fuck was Walker for that 2nd goal? His continued poor form also continues.

No, a class act blames the rain, the wind, the grass and the opposition turning up.

Its posts like this that remind me that i like you despite arguing the fucking toss with you most of the time ;-)

We weren’t at our usual best but it wasn’t down to a lack of effort, so it’s impossible to criticise our players at all. Great to see the confidence and assurance in our comeback, a few have said “never in doubt” and I genuinely didn’t think it was either.

Full credit to Swansea, it was actually nice to see someone brave enough to have a go. Their second goal was a thing of beauty, glad that Celina got it as well, he seemed a good lad when he was with us and it’s nice to see our academy lads doing well (just rather it wasn’t against us next time Bersent).

After seein a few replays I think it was a pen , overall we deserved the win anyway
I keep thinking the same. I genuinely can't see the defender get much of a touch, and his feet go into Sterling's legs.

Say it often enough and it will be a stonewall, blatant, copper-bottomed, cynical, gold-plated, how-could-you-fcukin-miss-it, red-card-deserving, career-threatening, 100% certain, disgusting, off-the ground, out of control, even-Alty-would-give-it, two-footed scissor tackle.

It’s marginal but BT behaved as if it was a blatant dive which it was not and you’d think Sergio was quarter of a furlong off-side the way they condemned him.
Their tears are like nectar, Remember the Champs league when Sterling stubbed his toe and WE were the first team ever told WE should have refused the pen ?

go on then i'll speak in block capitals.

you pick the best 11 fit players available to you. when and only when the game is safe do you put on the second string players. it gives the first team players a rest yet the game is safe.

Could work if we had 6 changes per match.

Sergio and David normally are subbed and 1 winger.
If you have to sub a defender you already have a problem.
We have to rotate and thimking about our fixture pileup there can't be a debate.

Exciting win in the end but we needed our top 2 players this season to change the tie for us.
Added bonus of a keeper rushing about like a madman after wasting time for 87 mins.

Shearer on MOTD: It's just a pen, defender catches his left leg.

Then Ince pipes up, not a pen, some pundits don't even hide the bias towards anything we do.
