Very good result. We wore them down and on another day could have scored 6. That's not to say that Swansea weren't dangerous at times. They played well.

You have a point but we looked shaky at times and there will come a time when the opposition has better finisher than today.

We could have had double figures our self mate.

Swansea played well, especially in the pressing game and have some pace up front but we carved them open so many times and but for some wasteful finishing we would have buried them.

match day thread funny as f*ck , KDB is shit e, take sterling off blah , blah, blah , yet we won 3-1 away , at a Swansea team playing out of their skins , because we have arrived in town. We were'nt really at it today and still won the game in a canter , the potential of this squad of players with pep in charge is frightening if we can tighten the defence and get some clean sheets it would be a bonus , but we know we can outscore anyone at the moment.

Match thread is full of wankers and people that shout "get it forward" at the game.

It was a good test. Credit to Swansea they played well passed well contained well in the first half. KdB to the centre killed their momentum though. Good call by Pep.

That first half is the best I've ever seen an opposing team getting toe to toe with us but we were unlucky with a few attempts. On another day we expect those to hit the net.

Ref was abysmal from what ive seen with them being able to foul at will without cards being shown whilst we saw a card almost every time.

4 yellows in 8 fouls for City (1 for Sterling's celebration) with Swansea committing 16 fouls and receiving 2 yellow cards, notably 5 by Routledge with no booking, a couple of which were very nasty and 3 very late challenges by Fer without a card.

Have asked Opta for a quote on yellow card:foul ratios for all PL City games since the start of the 10/11 season, I'll post the results here if I go for it.
