Just finished, had on in the background, so not really watching, but turning a eye when the commentators got excited.
It's funny , the women's team reminds of the men's team , ie how has this team been so successful with this manager ?
Like how is Jess Parks on the bench after her performance against Ireland the other night ?
Also Alex Greenwood being dropped , probably one of the best defenders in the WSL ?

More like a pre-season friendly than a qualifying match. Distinct lack of urgency from Sweden for large parts of the game despite needing to win. Quality from both teams was poor but out of season for most of the players. Sweden were there for the taking if England had a bit more quality in the final third. The home team only really exerted a bit of pressure towards the end of each half. Wiegman sticking with her favourites again for the most part.

At least we hung on to qualify so more renditions of Sweet Caroline to look forward to next year.

They’ve been alright. Decent build up at times, but then waste it with a poor touch or pass.

Need half time though, the Swedes are finally applying a bit of pressure.

56mins before they got a shot on target. i can't understand why Jess is sitting on the bench. She's the only one in midfield who would drive at the Swedish defence. And the subs? First one at seventy odd mins, and then the BBC suggest that Toone went off for Kirby who brought on a 'calm head' - at 90+3 ffs! It has all the hallmarks of Wiegmann going for the draw to secure second place. Achieved but stodgy football.

She's a damn sight better than Millie Bright! Williamson has to be on the pitch because she is Dame Leah Williamson and it wouldn't do to have her sitting watching the game?
