It’s a clear red but is that intentional or has he just got unlucky? He’s gone to clear the ball, which he did, he can’t then reverse his momentum and the other guy is also running towards him. The red card is obvious but I don’t know if it’s also totally accidental and not as malicious as the commentators are suggesting.

Looks absolutely horrific in slow mo/still image. It's a definite red but I don't think that was as bad as it looks in that I don't think there was intent.
