SWP Vs Adam Johnson

SWP is still excellent in games where the play is stretched and we can counter-attack into space. He's not so good when there's less room and we're trying to create something against a packed defense. It seems like a lot of defenders just step in his way when he tries to go past them these days, and the refs rarely give a free-kick for the obstruction.

AJ looks much more able to beat a player and get a dangerous cross into the box, but it's true that he didn't look too hot against Chelsea. Maybe for now we should play one in each half.

Against Chelsea, the sub happened the other way around and SWP was brilliant, Johnson unremarkable.

One word comes to mind.
