I can imagine mate.....I've seen documentaries and read things,and so called experts contradict each other.
Some say great whites don't like the taste of human flesh,some say they do,and some say they will eat anything going.
Who knows....I suppose if your starving,you'll eat any food you can get.

Given that sharks kill about 12-20 humans a year, I think the consensus is that they do not like the taste or just don't see us as natural prey, is probably correct.

But yeah, ultimately they are apex predators and if they want to do damage they can.
 
Apparently the man killed was British, I was worried that it was blue mist for a moment until it said 35 years old and not a FOC

Done it. Albeit they were basking sharks. Nothing dangerous like tiger or great whites.

They were big and their mouths were fucking massive. They were about 12-20 feet long.

Unbelievable experience to get up close and touch them

Done a dive in Egypt,at a place called Jacksons Reef.
It's where Hammerheads go to mate.
Was giving it the big un on the boat on the way out there as my lad was with me.
Got there,got kitted up and in I went with an instructor from the diving school.
Got about 15m down,nothing......about another 5m and over a drop off and fuck me.
About 200 Hammerheads swimming about,so...........up I went....my arse went.
SCARY SHIT.
 
It seems the swimmer was suffering from dandruff......

They found his Head and Shoulders on the beach.

I was in the Caribbean. Basking sharks are bottom feeders so we had to scuba about 7 meters down and were around 5 of them just chilling on the ocean bed. They were completely chilled out so we could stroke them. Then one suddenly jumped up and that scared me a bit! It swam past me with its mouth open. Amazing sight

If you went up fast from 20m you’d probably have more ill effects from bends than the sharks

Talking of the Caribbean cruise some years back on Cozumel my then 9 year old swore a baby shark swam under him in one of the bays. We just laughed, could it have been a barracuda ?

No mate,they were well below me,and there was no rush.
Mad thing is,I know they are bottom feeders and would not cause no bother,but I knew they would come for a look about soon.
As I said,my arse just went,even though I knew there was no danger.
