God i remember those days. Didn't post too much was either Devils or BlueAdvocate , can't remember which . Being from Middleton used to have a wind up with KippaxBlue as he was from Heywood . Remember when we first got the Goat i used to call him can't jump won't jump

Plenty of excellent memories. I've just found myself on PAGE ONE of the Hall of Fame!

They were good days. Drinking in the Parkside, curries in Rusholme afterwards, the Tribal Gatherings.

That must of been around 99 then as this phot of me was in CTC Lympstone (RMR) with a City T on

I've obviously lost weight and gotten even more hair since then......I wish.

I was on there too and got that email from TS John. My name back then was New Blue Jersey as I was living in New Jersey. Deb worked with my sister in Manchester and took us to our first City game back in the day. Those were great times (first days of the internet for me) though the footy was, let's say, lacking.

BTW, for anyone who cares I love to see the Poznan on the telly. Seems to annoy the opposition. A bit like Balotelli.

Can't remember my BV username but no one would remember me anyway as I was about as prolific a poster as I am here! After Blueview went down the Rivals route I thought most moved on to Talkin' City (maybe not?) which was pretty busy until they shut it down for a lengthy period.

Going back a bit further, who else got MCIVTA email newsletters (circa 94/95 I think when I signed up)? What a great source of info that was.

I remember TSJ..... Blueview was a tight night forum then - didn't he get ejected from Maine Road for chucking a bottle into the City fans in the North Stand???
A typical smug rag bast*rd if ever there was one.

That's him. It made the papers and he never appeared on forums again - using that name anyway.

It came out following that incident he came from Yorkshire (arf)

He was from Ilkley, worked for NTL; was a tail coater with utd's main lads. He did the first 21yrs 'Banner' at Maine Road... He disappeared after his name (was John), address, mobile and employer ended up being posted...

-- Wed Oct 26, 2011 9:21 pm --

Thanks Nomad!!!!
