To be fair, you will run in to problems, no matter what tablets you use. They do not have the greatest OS optimised for such a function... yet.
That said, we are beginning to see web pages with inbuilt HTML5, like the Sky site, where you can bypass this annoying problem. Flash is virtually dead now.

If you are going to standard shops then you may be subject to this 'year' only. If you go to more specialised tech shops, you can bag a 2 year world wide warranty at £69.

In all form factors iOS devices are outperformed by phones/tablets that are both superior in terms of hardware specification and software functionality. That amazing Do Not Disturb function that Apple keep advertising on TV? Well it doesn't work properly on iOS (it doesn't turn off sometimes) and I've had it on Android for years. Every version is at least a generation behind the competition.
As for what I said about their declining market share, well just look at the numbers. Their market share in smart phones is now around half that of Samsung. They are also no longer the largest tablet vendor having been passed by Google, with Samsung and Amazon on the verge of doing so too.
It's a dated and overpriced ecosystem and it's going the way all their products end up going. Why do you think they had to be bailed out after Steve Jobs left the first time around? Because without Jobs' sales pitches people realised that they could actually get better for cheaper. It is true that the iPad still doesn't offer true 16:9, even after all it's rival and cheaper competitors pretty much do!! It still has a noticeable black border around the frame. It is an incredibly silly oversight.

Most people have state of the art mobile phones so a camera is not usually a prerequisite.I have never seen anybody taking holiday snaps with an I -Pad yet.
Me and the missus have one of these, they are less than £100.00 and does much more than all the pads on here

Not really sure what you're trying to upload, but for less than £100, you're going to be playing with an extremely poor kit with low processor power. It's only the Nexus 7 that stands up to scrutiny (at just over £100 in online stores) that uses the Tegra 3 quad core processor well in that build. For example, there is a Lenovo Idea Tab that uses the exact same processor and is p*ss poor in comparison, imo!
Cheaper than £100 is not recommended as you get what you pay for. My 3 year old has a similar priced model that plays films and music and it's just a basic machine.
