Bet that will really bother him
What a shit deterrent.

The eqivelent of me putting 10p in a swearbox.

Gill will probably bung it back into his account with interest.

Token fine by the FA who show no backbone. Has he not been warned about future conduct before and if that the case then should have been hit harder. Are the fA also going to look into the Phil Jones situation. Dropped to U21 England squad which enraged ferguson. Then "injury" meant 4 weeks out so withdrew and now days later he is fit and available, same as Carrick who withdrew also.
Won't hold my breath. If that was us I'm sure they will now be voting on players not available for selection weekend after missin internationals

The whole system is a complete farce if this is the level of deterrent. Fat Sam also only got fined a couple of quid.

If the FA want to stop Managers spouting off after Games then dont even bother with the disrepute charge. No charge means no appeal. Step out of line and you sit in the Stand, do it again and your Club gets a point deducted.

Great idea but we had better sent David Platt out after a match and not Bobby :0)

What I can't understand is that he was given touchline bans for the last two offences (he had to watch the fa cup semi-final against us from the stands) yet even before the sanction for this was announced the muen was reporting it would be a fine only.

What is it about this offence that makes it less serious than the previous two offences for which he received touchline bans?
