Take That COMS June 2011

The missus has gone ballistic, I have booked a holiday from 1st to 14th June, and i am not going to fork out to go to Wembley, so I am in the dog house. How was I to know

City won't be selling tickets, they're not the promoter. They will simply be providing the venue, and staff who know the venue to run the event.

As long as the club make a profit by hiring out 'the venue' to the promoters, I have no problem with it. The pitch will suffer a bit, but it's a bloody good pitch and can withstand a lot. As long as we only have say one week of concerts a summer, I'm sure we can cope. It went a bit stupid when we were having three different acts a summer.

And it makes COMS more of a venue. It was built for stuff like this. When you see it in action during a concert, the bowl shape, the service tunnel for access, the large areas around the stadium for crowds, it's perfect. That's why the swamp (desperate for money) hardly ever have concerts, because it's a crap venue.

Anything that brings more exposure to COMs is good for me.

If anyone saw the last Take That tour (Circus 09) and was impressed with the stage set up etc then this tour will proper blow you away.

I believe we stopped all concerts at first because we didn't need the money but now because of these financial fair play rules it makes sense to have them . The money from these is counted as club income so it goes towards our bottom line.
