I think the issue people have isn't that she managed to get tickets ahead of time, that's just good luck on her part, it's that she's going on all 4 nights. Ok, so she wants to go on all 4 hights, but by doing so she's preventing 3 other people from seeing Take That at all. Is she really going to have the time of her life on the fourth night, having seen them 3 times already? I'm sure you'll say "she wants to go on all 4 nights so she should be allowed to" but it is slightly selfish to do so knowing you're preventing others from enjoying the show.
She's going on all 4 nights because she's a sad woman, she did it last year aswell

You just really couldn't make it up!
So I'm sure she would really understanding if she couldn't get any tickets..
I'm a female.. and however much I like a band.. going 4 nights on the trot is ridiculous. Its the same show every night!

I couldn't possibly comment on that, however you can surely see how some wouldn't view it as being sad but more as selfish?

Not wanting to cause an argument or anything but how is that different to, say, attending the derby at The Swamp every year and so denying another blue a chance of a ticket?

His mam hasn't done anything wrong at all in my eyes. You get avid followers of other big bands who attend multiple gigs on a single tour. Everyone knew that tickets for Take That were going to be like gold dust with phone lines and the internet being swamped - if people are that desperate to go then they must be prepared to pull out all the stops within their power to get them.

As has already been stated, the real culprits are the touts.

But there is always a way of getting them yourself.. eg, going to more games and building up points.. and also you get one ticket for your seasoncard. not 4 sets of godknows how amny

How is going to four seperate footy matches the same as going to four take that gigs?

They sing the same songs, same choreography and so on... football is a sport and thus every match is different, different players, results and so on.. you can't comare the two.

Going to four gigs is selfish and greedy, just no need to go to all four.

Yes i agree the real problem is the actual procedure inwhich tickets are bought, which does encourage the greed culture, and Touts just feed off this culture, but it doesn't help when people are ordering multiple tickets.

You're not seeing the same football match 4 times though, it's not scripted so each match will differ greatly from the last. Each of the four Take That gigs will be identical, same set list, same choreography, same lighting, absolutely identical. Plus the gigs are separate by a matter of hours ratehr than years.

As for the people marvelling at the huge Ebay bids for tickets, I think it's very safe to say the £300k and £750k level bids for tickets are being made to screw over the seller. People will be pissed off with tickets being hawked on Ebay within hours of them selling out for hugely inflated prices, the sellers have clearly bought in bulk with the aim being to fleece Take That fans out of as much money as possible. Imagine it was City cup final tickets, there'd be a campaign organised on here to bid stupid sums of money for the tickets in order to prevent the seller from actually making a sale.

Two going for £750,000+ on ebay if someone needs a ticket

ridiculous

The missus has got 4 tickets. What she doesn't know yet is she will be sat next to some random ebayer after I get my hands on one of them.
