No reason we couldn’t have both, assuming that Paqueta’s name is cleared. We would have kept Palmer, so can accommodate Kubo out wide, and with fitness questions hanging over Stones and de Bruyne and suitability questions over Phillips, we still need the qualities Paqueta brings. The physicality and tempo of the English game are vastly different to Spain, so it would be a tall ask for Kubo to play centrally.
