This mornings classic was an interview with Emile Heskey. He was the expert drafted in to give us his insight into the Brazil/Germany semi final. He came out with 2 gems for us who know nothing about football. 1st he told us all that Fred does not have a trick in his locker. Secondly he said that he did not think Brazil would win the World cup as you get nowhere at this level playing a striker who cannot score. No sense of irony whatsoever from Ivanhoe.

I've hardly listened to Talkshite at all in the build up to and during the World Cup. All this shite about "Every game, every goal live!" Every goal live? Just how did that work when both 3rd round games in each group were played at the same time?

I've also become even more irritated with Saggers constantly shouting into the microphone or at his fellow presenter as if he's got Tourette's and Collymore's explosive orgasms when any goal other than a tap in is scored.

I pissed my sides listening to this on the way to work. Heskey was giving lectures about technical ability. It is almost as funny as Danny Mills giving advice on defending...or Trevor Brooking, who was part of the worst England side for 60 years, being head of English football development!

When they minimized our title win, I said f*ck them, I just stopped listening to anything. In fact, I stopped looking up most of UK articles bc it's irritating.
Now it's just podcasts and my *local*radio stations that actually talk about WC-very new. Can't see me ever going back. Wait, i lie, maybe Keys and Gray.

I'm presuming their low level of intelligence radio broadcasts is what's attracting the masses as it still seems to maintain the listening figures thus advertisers?

Their bowing to the Sky/Rag masses keeps this station at an all time low in terms of debate, and with their agenda being all to clear - keeps me switched off from this shit.

Why do you still listen to this station?
it's just one big advertisement, with total negativity to keep the Rag & Sun educated masses happy.

Every radio, alarm clock, car stereo, everything has had this station tuned in at some point - now it's removed.

Prefer Xfm or Absolute radio... less football, but less bullshit.

Some of the bias against City players is just childish and ott. Tim Vickery yesterday singled out Fernandinho for ridicule,barely mentioning any other brazil players,even Matt Holland asked what was the best thing to keep the Germany team happy and keep team spirit for the final. He said give them a cake or they'll throw a strop. Something Fuck all to do with City or Germany but he had to get a sly childish dig in.

Unbiased and quite insightful, some of the 'trips down memory lane' of previous world cups they are currently doing are really good. He guests seam to know their stuff also. Unlike the boiled bollock who just tends to get his piss can mates (usually the same 5 or 6) on for a catch up.

I was in the car this morning on my way to do the shopping, so I didn't hear to much of Colin Murray, but the bit I did hear was that if Germany win the WC, then Arsenal could have three 2014 WC winners in their team next season. I can't say I heard it mentioned, even in passing, that if Argentina won the competition, then it could be City with the three instead.
