Durham just had another pop at us.
"City will win nothing this year" - fair enough that's his opinion.
But then he starts with the same old:
"Not convinced by them, they should have won it by ten points last season" (despite him tipping Chelsea), and "their success was due to others dropping points" ( this isn't even worthy of debate or rebuttal ).
Oh and once more "Pellegrini prefers Caballero to Joe"
But he'd like to hear what City fans think.

Vienna_70 will be on in a minute telling you not to phone them... :)

He certainly will!

And that's probably NOT Durham's opinion; just more WUMmery to try to entice us to part with our hard-earned to line talkshite's coffers.

I have to concede he is very good at it. Sometimes, it's just a throw-away line at the end of a long statement, but it has the desired effect, I'm sure.

He actually believes some of the bollocks he spouts.....Damn, can't get through again.

Grrrrrr. I'm incensed. What's their number so I can ring in?

Actually GDM, if someone as articulate as yourself rang in and put them straight in a calm and almost mocking manner, it would be worth listening to.

I have to agree with this

If he can also imbue his effortless patter with a surfeit of scorn and derision, it would become a radio classic.

Just listened to that Brazil broadcast re Mr williams, what a utter t**t, but after being in the same hotel bar as him when he got sacked at Cheltenham why do we give a f**k.

Whilst I'm obliged by your kind words, I would be seriously worried about being a tremendous disappointment to the denizens of Bluemoon if I did that.

Not in terms of my command of the English language, self-assurance and ability to construct a cogent argument, obviously, but rather because they'd hear my voice and realise that I'm not quite as posh as they've been led to believe by cunts like you ;-)

You do sound a bit like George Formby with a cold.

I think I preferred being Lord Charles tbh.

I use to think that Ade Durham was the biggest tw&t going...but... I then realised, actually, his job is just to wind people up, he changes his opinion a few times a week and runs with it........so actually the prize of the biggest tw&t's go to...

Mr Brazil and Mr Gough
Brazil simply can't hide his allegiance to the rags, or his hatred for City.
Gough is simply to thick as fuc£ to do anything but blab what bollocks he thinks is true....thick as mince he is.

In a nutshell, keep off the phones, leave it to the rags, Arsenal, and bin dippers.

Well said, that man.

What do you think of Rodwell joining you?

A good acquisition if he can stay fit?

And what about Bruno for five months? I've been impressed with what I've seen of him so far.

If Rodwell stays fit then he could become our leader...but it's a big IF....I think Bruno will be superb in the future, so more than happy to give him game time....basically, if any of the above keeps Cattermole out of the team, then it is progress.

File it away chaps.

Manchester City will win nothing. With the squad they had, and the changes at other clubs, City should have won the title by 10-12 points last season, but in the end only clinched it because Chelsea dropped points late in the campaign against Villa, Palace, Norwich and Sunderland, while Liverpool lost to Chelsea and slipped up at Crystal Palace.

Manuel Pellegrini gets his sides playing decent football, but that can only take you so far. On Sunday he changed nothing when Arsenal were outplaying the champions from the first minute.

The unhappiness of Yaya Toure this summer has smacked of everything that was wrong with the latter part of the Roberto Mancini era at the Etihad. And his handling of the goalkeeper situation is nothing short of bizarre.

I’ll be fascinated to see who is in between the sticks for City on the opening weekend, but I know that whoever misses out won’t be happy.

Joe Hart doesn’t deserve to be dropped; Willy Caballero will wonder why he’s been signed after playing every minute of every game in La Liga last season.

He keeps saying we should have won by 12 points, but he tipped Chelsea for the title last year. I'm not sure how this contradiction works but in the mind of Durham I'm sure it makes sense.
I hope we ram it down his throat and at the end of next season its his idol the special needs one who ends up with fuck all.

We probably would have had we not also needed to get used to Pellegrini (and Pellegrini to the PL), ya know because we made changes as well. Once everyone settled we only lost 2 games all season, 1 because of injury (Demichellis in CM vs Chelsea) and 1 because Scousernburg fucked us over at Klanfield

Kompany, Yaya, Silva and Aguero barely played together also (only started 4 or 5 games together) and I doubt it'll be quite that bad this season.
