Casually listening to H&J on the short drive home from work the other day and H asked J if

Personally I make it a 50/50 as to whether United or Liverpool take the fourth place with us, Chelsea and Arsenal very likely for the other 3.
There was certainly a debate to be had on the concequences of United missing out again but the lazy minded Ancien Regime loving tosser would rather continue paying homage at the court of King Louis.

Since United's 7-0 v Galaxy all we've heard from TS and other outlets is about the mass of believers at that game and the 110k sellout for Madrid game and that Herrera is the "young " successor to Xavi and Iniesta.

Like any other wankfest it only lasts for so long before it turns into a limp sticky mess.

After Chelsea won their second successive title under Mourinho in 2006, he was on air bleating about how boring it had now become and would become if Chelsea continued dominating the premier league. This is probably my main frustration with City as a club.

I mean looking at it in another way, if they regularly took frustration out on media sources and started banning them like they did at the swamp, wouldn't this just aggravate them even more to write more lies about City?

Saying that, SAF was a right bastard with many and he gets worshipped. :-/

I think the solution (although irritating at times) is to remain quiet with the media, keep a tight ship and promote ourselves via results and social media.

Typical! They've dug hard to find something negative about us again. All summer long we've been ignored as a top four team never mind the current champions, any team but City has had ample airtime but we've been ignored. Deliberate policy by the bosses.
We won't sell any extra merchandise or grow our fanbase on the back of the way we are treated by the media, where as every other premier league team especially the rags get lots of positive advertising from this excuse of a radio station.
Today I've heard them mention City a couple of times, they must be getting short of listeners as we all switched off during the summer, made me realise they'd been trawling the forum again for something negative to report.

Are the media biased against us though? IMO they are favourably biased towards Rags and Dippers. We get much less attention but then so do Spurs, Everton etc. I think it is simply due to the vast numbers of Pool and Scum supporters and ex players in the media. FFP on the other hand is obviously aimed at us and PSG.

...and still we keep winning. What would you rather have - a bunch of not very bright ex players waxing lyrical about 'History' or be part of making a new history with City?

Well if we recoup the money, or most of it, for one of our apparent worst signings he has done alright in finishing 2nd, 1st, playing in an FA cup final and winning the League Cup. Something which, no matter how much people try to play it down, he played a rather large part of.

I'm suprised they included RSC and Bridge in there as he was signed by one of their British managerial darlings.
