Kinkys Left Foot said:Icckle Wayne doesn't want to talk about the transfer request he handed in last year when he'd fallen out with SBF.
He' much rather chat about how dedicated to U****Ds cause he's been since they wouldn't sell him to Chelsea and called the fat fucks bluff!
Apparently the MIB are not happy both he and Gollum Bollocks got a bit snappy with the reporters and wouldn't tow the pr line of peace and serenity.
I smell a tad of animosity - long may it grow and fester!
Brazils in full rag twat mode this morning, Davy this Davy thatstrongbowholic said:The propaganda machine was in overdrive this morning following wee Davey's win. Shit On Lou declaring there's only one way of playing for the rags which is attack, attack, attack. Vomit inducing. Incredulity followed that the press are giving shrek a hard time; they don't like it up them do they?!
To be fair, they damned us with faint praise, Ray Parlour declaring we did well, but if one or two City players hadn't been on it, then it could have been a different story. No shit Rocky?
Of the two results, I'd be more concerned that the rags defence looked a bit like ours did agains Stoke and Hull at times.
He could well be quite happy to stay but he's after a (presumably improved) new contract so the spin from the Rooney camp will be that he's not happy.Como Cat said:Despite all the evidence to the contrary Brazil announced that his 'source' in the 'Rooney camp' had confirmed that Ronney was completely happy to remain at OT and had no desire to move. Begs the question why Rooney wouldn't state that to be the case but what do I know anyway.
He's got a reasonably good negotiating position, though, in that without him the rags look a bit devoid of creativity and are really, really reliant on RVP.Prestwich_Blue said:He could well be quite happy to stay but he's after a (presumably improved) new contract so the spin from the Rooney camp will be that he's not happy.Como Cat said:Despite all the evidence to the contrary Brazil announced that his 'source' in the 'Rooney camp' had confirmed that Ronney was completely happy to remain at OT and had no desire to move. I'm firmly of the opinion that Ferguson & Gill connived with his agent 3 years ago when he put that first transfer request in. I'm pretty certain he asked for a significant wage increase and the Glazers initially said no. So between the four of them I suspect they came up with the idea of the transfer request and made sure there was an offer on the table from another club, in order to put pressure on the Glazers. It obviously worked then but it won't work again.
He's the highest paid player there by some distance (£40k a week more than RVP I understand) so they'll want to reduce his package not increase it.

Slating us for still liking him when all he did was cause unrest within the club, upsetting players etc. and now Pellegrini has done more in three months turning it around than Mancini had done in all his time here with our players. Then he had a go at Mancini for writing an open letter in the Evening News to the fans when he should have just walked away and again causing unrest for the club. Slagged Mancini for only winning two trophies in three and a half years when he had been given every player he ever wanted to sign. He came across quite bitter so much so that Colin Murray was defending City fans for singing Mancini's name until the end of the season and even said he loved the 'We're not really here' chant and then he asked Hamann did he have a personal grudge against Mancini for something previous such was Hamann's vitriol towards Roberto. Couldn't listen to the rest of the show as I had to get out of the van and do some work so don't know if there was any reasoning behind his obvious dislike for Mancini but it was all to clear it was there.

I didnt hear today but he has said on there before he thinks mancini was a failure at city. The only reason i can guess is the ex-players are jealous because city didnt win things when they were there or they didn't get paid like todays players do.He clearly was not a failure so that arguement does not hold any water
