The funniest thing I heard them do was scientists taking the magnetic homing bit out of a pigeon's brain and implanting it into that of a soldier.
hope it is on youtube at some point....really were appointment radio, used to alter my day so I could listen. One of those periods in time on the radio....they were peerless

I think it was statutory to have at least one nonce teaching during my schooldays.Not me no, but several of the under privileged and under educated kids were his targets, Bummer Turner was how he was known.

We called our PE teacher Bummer Carter. He showed us his in situ jock strap every other week. He told us we'd all need one when we grew up a bit, and he would inspect us to see who needed one first.Not me no, but several of the under privileged and under educated kids were his targets, Bummer Turner was how he was known.

Our alcoholic was indeed maths but our nonce was biology and psycho was physics.
