Talksport

Talkshite completely creaming themselves last night about Newcastle takeover, and today on Drive when Bent and Goldielocks the Rag were saying how great it would be to have Newcastle back in the CL like in Bobby Robsons era. And last night, can't recall the presenters but when a Newcastle fan rang up to say something about Human Rights concerns the presenters said, 'oh you're just fans, you don't need to worry about that stuff!' Then preceded talking about spending £200m on players and how great that would be as well as possibly getting Conte as Manager. I had to turn over stations because I was fuming and thinking what a bunch of hypocritical walkers. Praising and lauding the spending and telling fans they needed worry about human rights is Saudi. Every fucking stick they beat us with constantly. Set of cnuts. Them Geordies are in for an eye opener if the deal goes through
Did you hear the Geordie saying he wanted Jose as manager, Keegan as assistant & Shearer as technical director. Comedy gold

lets be fair here
newcastle fans have won the lotto and just like us the dreams will become real. but i will say its not easy to build a team of players that are there for football reasons and not just money

first thing is a manager and we are talking somebody that's done it before and can build a team.
then will FFP and the elite now rush around and get together and change the rules again because somebody is richer than them and don't like a fight

i don't see a problem towards manchester city with newcastle's take over because we are well down the track and the foundations was proper built on solid ground

talksport should be happy they have something else to bounce callers into make phone calls
we manchester city have been their bread and butter go to club to pick on because of the money so lets see newcastle get all the shit thrown at them and see if it sticks

Jamie O Hara last night on the sports bar claiming on a number of occasions that there will be 60,000 there every week at St James Park as a result of this. And no one pulled him up that the capacity is 53,000

The thick bastard that when asked what was his favourite chocolate biscuit proudly pronounced it was a custard cream.

If you think about it, City had to buy 2 teams before winning the title from when being bought.
There's the signings of Robinho, Bellamy, Wayne Bridges, Given, and a few others I can't recall who were not around / anywhere near the 1st team when we won the title in 2012.
Problem Newcastle have is they have a shit team and manager and can't do anything until January by which time being in the bottom 3 is a very good possibility...... so if you are a top player and they want to go after you in January are you going to sign for a club that quite possibly could go down?
Would Haaland leave BD and Champs League football to join a relegation battle? Or Harry Kane?
Or even a decent manager if they do sack Bruce? I bet even Big Sam would turn it down lol

All true. But the Geordies can now look forward to 10 years of growth on and off the pitch instead of decline. It is great this investment is going to the North and not London.

Agree with that but if they go down will really knock back the plans.... sure they can bounce back the following season but will have to buy half a team to get back up and then replace them the following season if back in the PL - assuming they can shift those players on!
