Not sure if this is a repeat but listening to Barry Fry discussing his career and times with Stan Flashman at Barnet.

It annoys me less when we've lost and get panned than a big win being ignored.

Turned it on when doing dishes couple of days ago and the ginger/Gough combo were taking the piss out of 40 odd Eastleigh fans going all the way to Barrow. Perfect example of a station that promotes itself as a sports station but has no fucking idea.
 
Went for a few celebratory snifters in my local on the way home last night.
Got in and put talksport on, don't know why as all they talked about was curry!

Two city lads phoned in and they told them to not mention any players or the game, how bizarre.

Put it on this morning and they're talking about Depeche Mode, comparing them to Pink Floyd and Genesis

Have they ditched the sport section?
 
Why do you lot still listen to this? They are absolute amateurs, they offer absolute zero insight into football that is with listening too

If you want to hear some decent level headed football discussion then listen to the guardian football weekly podcast, citywatch podcast, bluemoon podcast and the Spanish football podcast

Has there ever been one, I thought they were all Rags ?
 
Find it astonishing that anyone would listen to this station. I didn't think it could be any worse until I found out it was, effectively, owned by the Sun. It's lowest common denominator radio and the equivalent of watching The Wright Stuff or Jeremy Kyle in gaining an insight to modern society. There are so much more insightful and entertaining podcasts available that I don't think many people who get wound up by TalkSport have an excuse to listen to it other than self-loathing.
