full everton charm offensive from the bald bollock this morning, to be expected i suppose, lukaku this lukaku that against our centre backs, absolutely no mention of aguero back to form and fitness

Just listened to the said show with parry (who tbh I find quite ammusing) and all the talk was about Everton this Everton that, yes they have a slender lead and yes they have good players who can cause us problems and yes they are capable of beating us but never heard anything about us, it was like we are going out there with our under 18 team and like lambs to the slaughter, they must of forgot that we have half decent players ourselves, also when warnock tried to have a go and talk about defences, parry just jumped right in presuming it was Everton he was on about rather than trying to have another sideways dig at us....I think they have also forgot we have kept the odd clean sheet....fucking nobs (originally posted this on main forum on another thread as couldn't find a relevant thread to post on)

"Porky" Parry opining in the early hours that our "struggle to sell tickets" for tonight's game shows that we have a long way to go before we can have the heritage of clubs like the rags, liverpool, Chelsea and...er....Everton. Steve Nicoll agreed. Oddly neither mentioned that the crowd will still be bigger than the capacities at Liverpool, Chelsea and....er...Everton or that we aren't forced to buy tickets unlike certain other clubs. Parry, in fairness, doesn't take himself seriously but this shit is gaining currency.

Pity no one questioned why Everton couldn't sell out the first leg for what is their biggest game in many years

Or why Liverpool, the second biggest club in the world, were still selling tickets yesterday morning and offering 20% off hospitality packages. And why they only got 43k in a stadium which holds nearly 45k.

Might as well not turn up tonight, it's already a Merseyside final listening to Talksport this morning. Everyone apart from Bosnich reckons Everton will be in the final. Everton this and that all morning, the only thing they mentioned about City was us not selling out. I like it though when no one gives us a shout, it's makes it more sweeter if we win.

Colin Murray about to do an article on why it's not sold out. He's normally very decent with City, so suspect he's going to defend us, but all the same, it's helping to perpetuate the myth that we are somehow worse than anybody else.

Parry is getting too over-confident with regards to Everton. Martinez is virtually sacked if he loses !
